Wendy Hoeksema, formerly Thomas, is a health professional, educator, veteran/first responder supporter, loving mother of four, and proud resident of northern Michigan for nearly 40 years. Committed to service and community, she shares these values with her retired/disabled law enforcement officer Pat.

Experience
Wendy will bring a wealth of experience to the role of township clerk, drawing from her background in healthcare, education, public service, and military spouse experiences. Recognized as the Munson Healthcare Employee of the Year in 2018, she helped to facilitate the opening of the Cowell Family Cancer Center and also served as a Safety Officer.

Commitment
Wendy's deep-rooted connection to her community, coupled with her passion for service, drives her to seek the position of Township Clerk, where she aims to contribute to the prosperity of her community and build relationships through diligent, efficient leadership.
